There is now a 99.9 percent chance that 2015 will be the earth’s warmest year on record. This comes as world leaders have agreed upon a framework from which global economies will work together to help reduce the impact of climate change.

And it comes as the eastern half of the US experiences one of the warmest holiday seasons on record, and retailers are struggling to sell “seasonal” items.
